The Brinsea Maxi 24 EX Connect is an app-controlled incubator and the latest addition to Brinsea’s growing range of Wi-Fi enabled egg incubators. 

Simply download the free Brinsea Connect App from the Apple Store or Google Play, and you will be able to monitor and operate your incubator remotely from your smartphone.

This means that controlling your incubator is now at your fingertips, 24/7, anywhere in the world.

The Brinsea Connect App links to your Connect incubator using your local Wi-Fi network. All the incubator functions are duplicated on the app and allows the user to:

• Monitor temperature, humidity, turning, cooling and count-down to hatch day.
• Be alerted with a phone notification to warning alarms of fluctuations in temperature, humidity and power loss.
• Change temperature, humidity, cooling and turning settings.
• Future-proof your incubator/app system with additional features as they become available.

Once you have downloaded the app to your smartphone all you need to do is to scan the QR code on your product and register your incubator. The app then takes you through the setup step by step, connecting to your Wi-Fi network. Once setup is complete, you can then either use the incubator buttons or your phone to make adjustments to control your incubator. Any adjustments you do on the incubator show on your phone and vice-versa. The incubator control is unaffected if the internet connection is lost.

Automatic Egg Turning – The Brinsea Maxi 24 EX Connect holds 0-24 Chicken Eggs, 0-12 Duck Eggs, 0-40 Quail Eggs, 0-24 Pheasant Eggs and 0-8 Goose Eggs. Egg turning in this incubator is performed automatically and also comes with a countdown feature which will automatically stop the egg turning 3 days before your eggs are due to hatch. Another great feature of the Maxi 24 EX is that it comes with all egg quadrants, meaning that the maximum number of eggs from quail through to geese can be safely turned. Their ability to set the automatic turning interval as low as 5 minutes makes them ideal for parrot eggs too.

Temperature Control – To maximise hatch rates, a successful incubator must maintain even air temperature. Brinsea’s computer modelled temperature mapping technology means no other brand on the market comes close. The temperature is controlled through the digital display and can be set to an accuracy of 0.1°C. You can change the temperature of the Brinsea Ovation 56 EX Connect from your Brinsea Connect App.

Automatic Humidity Control – The Brinsea Maxi 24 EX Connect makes the task of controlling humidity much easier. A humidity pump is built into the incubator and allows you to have automatic humidity control, whereby you can set the desired humidity level on the digital humidity display. You can change the humidity level of the Brinsea Maxi 24 EX Connect from your Brinsea Connect App.

Room Temperature Alarm – Although egg incubators control temperature, the very fine temperature stability needed for a successful hatch can be affected by large fluctuations in room temperatures, perhaps due to heating failure or weather extremes. Brinsea’s patented room temperature alarm is now fitted to all digitally controlled models and warns the user if room temperatures vary too widely so that action can be taken to protect the developing chicks. These alerts will also be sent to you via the Brinsea Connect App.

Periodic Egg Cooling –  Once switched on the incubator will stop heating for a set period of time that the user sets in order to imitate the natural nest.

Egg Quadrants – The Maxi 24 series uses an innovative system of egg disk quadrants. These quadrants simply clip together to allow eggs of one size to be incubated or eggs of different sizes to be incubated together. The Brinsea Maxi 24 EX Connect comes fully equipped with all disk quadrants as standard (Chicken, Duck, Quail/Pheasant and Goose) so you don’t have to purchase any additional quadrants.
